Raguenes Plage, as we are sure you know, is situated in south west Brittany in the department of Finistere, just a few short KMs away from the working fishing port of Concarneau and within a short drive from Beg-Meil, Fouesnant and Benodet which are all camping and mobile home holiday resorts as well.

This is wonderfully scenic countryside which, ironically, was the setting chosen by some of the most famous painters in the past purely because of the superb scenery. Whilst on the subject of art and artists it is well worth spending some time in the Art Museum at Pont-Aven to view some of their work.

Round and about the area of Raguenes there are tiny picturesque villages and hamlets such as Kerascoet, the Rospico Gardens, along with magical riverside walks beside the river Aven, gems of fishing ports and countless reminders in the countryside of the ancient history of this region.

Whilst on your mobile home holidays in Raguenes we recommend that you pay a visit to the nearby town of Pont-Aven about 10 KMs away. This is a lovely little town, and if you are still into art then this is where all the old painters including Paul Gauguin gathered together.
