Tipi camping holidays and breaks in Ireland. If you have a tipi camping website for your business based in Ireland which you would like to see featured on this page then please mail camp@campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk

What is it about Ireland that makes it so attractive, not just for campers, but all types of sightseers? Not the rain that's for sure! Leaving aside the cities and their attractions the little island boasts some stunning countryside and charming olde worlde villages, far too many to mention here without favouritism. Ireland is rather like France in that there is little or no rubbish strewn about the countryside, unlike here in England where we have at least 2 generations of badly brought up people who have never been told how to dispose of their rubbish.

We leave the cities alone on pages like this because we are going camping, and not ordinary camping at that. We are going "upmarket" to camp in a Tipi or Tepee or Wigwam or whatever you like to call them for a week or so, a Tipi just like the Red Indians used to live in, and probably still do if there are any left. Tipi camping is catching on fast and some site owners in England are in their 4th and 5th years. Ireland is that little bit behind in this regard but I'm sure it will catch up soon.

It would be nice to be able to show an ad on this page for a cvompany which specialised in Tipi camping in Ireland, but sadly, though I can find some manufactuers I'm struggling to find an actual site for the moment - will add here asap.
