Trailer tent insurance

Trailer tents; whoever invented these magical things? They are so versatile in that even with a small car when you go on a camping trip you can take 4 people and all of your camping equipment in the trailer with your tent. Sleeping in a trailer tent can be better than on the ground, especially if it's very wet, and you can look out from above ground level next morning before putting you toe out.

The thing is though that trailer tents are quite valuable pieces of kit and if yours gets damaged or stolen then it represents a large loss. That being the case it makes good sense to call around for quotes to see how much you need to pay for good insurance. Personally I never use these "Compare" sites for the simple reason that I don't trust em, but if you know a mate or a neighbour, work colleague etc who has a trailer tent then ask him/her what their insurance is like. I strongly recommend insurance for the one you have but please make sure that the insurance you buy is the right one for you.
