French mobile home holidays: If you have a site relating to this topic and you would like to see it featured here then please email camp@campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk

Wow! Where do we start with this? France is such a large country compared to the UK that it has it's own Micro Climates which each attract their own little band of followers, for example, the Vendee on the Western coast has virtually as many hours of sunshine as ther South of France has and it is also far, far cheaper to take your French mobile home holidays there as well. We go there on a regular basis for those as well as other reasons.

The Vendee climate and it's relative proximity to the UK and Ireland may well be one of the reasons why you see so many Brits and Irish there. Take St Jean de Monts in the heart of the Vendee where there is an English/Irish pub which serves delicious meals. In season it throbs with both English and Irish folk having a coffee or a steak. Take Quiberon where there is a very upmarket Scottish shop in the bottom of the town. Many other towns also sport dedicated shops for one nation or annother - they stop us being homesick, or so I'm told. Strange that, because when I get over there I don't think about home until that depressing day arrives when we have to drive back.

Both of these areas and the whole of the Western coastal reagion of France have been used by us foreigners for many years when we are looking for a french holiday, whether it be in a mobile home park or a campsite.

French mobile home holidays have been advertised in the UK for many years and most of these sites are genuinely owned by French people who rent space to British, Irish, Dutch and German etc tour operators who own the actual mobile homes and who in turn sell the holidays to us, the public.

France is littered with camping sites from Calais in the North to Cannes in the South. Go West to Perpignan near to the French/Spanish border and then North up to St Malo area. All along that circuitous route and in the middle of the country too are thousands of camping areas offering mobile home holidays.
