Cheap camping and mobile home holidays. If you have a website relating to cheap camping holidays and you would like to see it featured on this page then please email camp@campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk

Because camping holidays are so cheap don't think for a moment they are designed just for poor people. We have been to many a site where there were Beemers, Volvos, Jags and even a newish Roller outside a tent on one occasion, all of them putting my aged and very battered Volvo to shame. Campers don't give a damn what you drive or what you do for a living, or even if you have a living to work at. All we usually ask is friendliness and neighbourliness and to get on well with everyone during the holiday. Nope, Camping holidays are a way of life as many newbies find when they get into the swing of things.

Camping holidays have always been cheap for as long as I can remember - and that's a fair way back, believe me. In my early days you had to provide all your own kit whether you camped in the UK, France, Spain or anywhere else, so if you were camping abroad that meant carrying an awful lot of luggage for a long, long way in a rickety old car. We had roof racks and suitcases in thoses days and not roof bars with lockable luggage boxes. But it was cheap, and enjoyable. Taking and using your own camping gear is still by far the cheapest holiday type that I know of.

Things are different now of course: you can still take all your own camping equipment if you go abroad and have a really cheap holiday, but there are stacks of companies now which hire out tents complete with beds, cooker, fridge and all utensils for more money obviously, but you still have a cheap quality camping holiday without the hassle of driving with a car stacked full of equipment. This type of holiday has become extremely popular for more than one reason. OK, it is a cheap holiday but you enjoy a laid back experience for a couple of weeks where you can chill out and do your own thing for once.

Lots of people search the Internet for camping holidays when they are really wanting to stay in mobile homes on a camping site, so this has muddied the waters somewhat as far as search engines are concerned and now both search terms mean virtually the same thing, so 9 times out of 10 your search will bring up pages of companies offering mobile homes, unless you are specifically want a tent holiday then you would search for cheap tent camping holidays.
