Tipi camping holidays and breaks in England. If you have an England based Tipi camping website and would like to see it featured here then please mail camp@campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk

I have lived in England most of my life and in times past I would have been proud to admit that, though sadly not any more, but having said that there are still some beautiful places in this country which are well worth staying in, and by that I mean camping in. I have camped all over the place: you name it and I've camped there, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, most of Europe, Africa and other places you wouldn't want to know about, but I still return to go camping in England now and then though I have never yet had the joy of camping in a Tipi.

Tipis, like Yurts have gained a following among the Green people: and I don't mean Martians, I mean the Green types who spoil dinner parties by banging on about recycling rubbish. It appears that Tipis are Green for some reason, even though they often sport log burners inside them and more often than not have a smoky old fire going outside polluting the atmosphere. And by all this I am not knocking Tipis or Tipi camping in any way but I can see that a minority of Eco idiots may spoil Tipi camping just because they and their ilk volubly turn them into Green icons, which would be a crying shame. I'm getting carried away by a pet hate here but I can just visualise a group of Eco Warriors dancing round a camp fire outside their Tipis, crying into their beer about homeless Polar bears.

Have a look at this site which gives stacks of information about Yurts and Tipis

And this one sounds good
